A Special Message from katie

Katie takes to the stage at the Seven Dials Club in Covent Garden, London for her 2026 Warm-Up Shows.

"I am writing to you as I sit on my train back to the West Country after an amazing four nights in Covent Garden performing my warm-up shows for the brand new tour Free Range.

And oh my goodness, did we really go for it?

I realise this happy feeling I have after the shows ts not about the writing of the show and finding out it works, or the glittery outfits or the standing on the stage. Although all that is terrifyingly brilliant in every way.

The happiness is the memories of all of you in that room together, leaning up against the bar laughing and chatting, dancing together waiting for a hug, cheering each other on in every way.

Its not that we think the same, or agree on everything. Its that we are happy to be free to think what we like and say what we like and respect everyone else’s right to do the same. And that feels like a hugely liberating thing.

We were young and old, straight, hot gay, sturdy lezzer, single pringles and everything in between. Turkey was there, Australia, Norway, California, Italy, and many others besides. Serving members of the Met Police turned up just to have a night off, together with healthcare workers and teachers escaping the stifling madness of having to keep their thoughts to themselves in their everyday lives.

I was delighted that a former Prime Minister also joined our crowd. Thank you to Liz Truss and her team.

You may have heard that I have written some song lyrics for us, ‘our Celebration Song’ and the sound of you lot belting out the Glory Glory chorus in the heart of Kier Starmer’s constituency will stay with me forever.

Extra Show added at Trump Turnberry

Katie is delighted to announce the addition of an extra night in the Donald J Trump Ballroom at the fabulously opulent 5* Trump Turnberry Resort on Thursday 16 July. As with her other show at the DJT Ballroom these will be the only shows in the UK tour to include a special VIP Meet & Greet Event.
