It’s Lovely Mark, your landlord at the Katie’s Arms, checking in on our regulars as we prepare for a big year ahead on the road in 2026.
We have news, we have a few updates and we have an exciting plan to share with you to resolve Katie’s SOLD OUT Batsh*t Bonkers Britain / True / Help book wait list!
But firstly I must start by thanking you. You support Katie in so many different ways; joining her at the Katie’s Arms, buying tickets, sending cheery messages or sharing information. We are grateful to be a part of this story we are all writing together and we know how lucky we are to be a part of it with you.
As is often the way, Katie would like to barge on in here and say a few things for herself. So I will hand over the floor to my wife. Please welcome to the newsletter my beloved one woman army, Katie Hopkins…..
Bless Lovely Mark, my long suffering husband. He has a new nickname now, Marco Rubio, because my children say I am like Trump. I come up with the crazy ideas and Mark is left finding a way to make them all happen, like Marco Rubio suddenly finding himself running Venezuela.
As we speak I am siting in the Free State of Florida looking at the sun. I apologise to my British countrymen for abandoning The Good Ship Blighty for a couple of weeks. Please know I am working hard on the tour and my argument is that me getting some Vitamin D will make the shows a lot more fun.
I have always found January to be a testing month. Both because of the perpetual darkness of British skies, and all the twinkly lights of Christmas being taken down. But at least now we can celebrate making it into February and get excited for Spring. (If you are reading this from Arizona or California or other perpetual summer countries, you are blessed!)
Katie’s Arms
The pub doors are open again on a Friday night at 8pm UK time and I find it so uplifting to see all the cheery hello’s from across the planet; isn’t it amazing that we can be separated by seas and yet share a friendly laugh together.
I know that for many who feel utterly alone, seeing the friendly messages from others is a deeply reassuring thing. I like to think of the Katie’s Arms as a big old rope around us all. Sometimes, when we are feeling strong we are holding the rope taught, other times we need to lean back into it for support. But the rope is always there.
When I was away on the road on one of my endless missions, I used to tell my son I would always be right there in his pocket when he needed me. I still tell him, even now he is 17 years old and 6 foot 2. And it is how I see our family on the road as well. On bad days, you have us all in your pocket, cheering you on.
Cameo
You will know that I do not like to advertise or try and sell anything to our family because it is not what we are here for.
But I do just want to mention the CAMEOs that I have been doing for the longest time. These are personalised videos, which people order as a gift, often for birthdays but importantly for people struggling in life, or being tested or suffering loss. A CAMEO example can be viewed below.
The details I receive about the recipient (in order to fulfil an order) are so much more personal than one might imagine. And I feel a great responsibility to put my whole heart into ensuring I fulfil these videos in the best way that I am able. I have been super touched by your kind feedback and I will continue to try and help give comfort in any way I can.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to have these conversations.
One more thing and then I promise to hand you back to lovely Mark. I just wanted to give you all a big hug to thank you for supporting the Free Range Tour 2026. Mark will share the details with you but it is so uplifting to have theatres (who were reluctant or nervous to book our show) now ask for extra dates. This is still our battle and we bear the scars. We have work to do to get more theatres on board. But thanks to you, we are winning. Together we will reclaim spaces where others can speak freely.
I may wield the sword, but you guys give it heft. I am bigger because of you.
OK, I am officially stopping. I will leave it to Lovely Mark to share some very good news….
Reprinting Batsh*t Bonkers Britain, Help and more…
Thank you Katie.
I am delighted to let you know that - due to popular demand! - we are going to print a special paperback edition of Katie’s latest book Batsh*t Bonkers Britain. So many of you wanted to get a copy and missed out, and we hate to disappoint.
We will also be republishing Katie’s back full back catalogue including RUDE, HELP and TRUE. And there will be a hand-signed 'limited edition boxed set' of all four.
This is the initial design we are working on. These will be paperback books, but in large, easy read format to the quality that you know us for.
Stay tuned for release dates. I hope to make the Limited Edition Box sets available for pre-order by the end of February.

Tour Update
Katie’s Free Range Show is an ALL NEW SHOW and great way to spend a night with your family on the road and remember how it feels to belong. If you have been to a show before you will know that you will feel completely at home as soon as you step inside the door. We are 18-80 plus, we are married and just met, we are Single Pringle Mingles and we are sturdy lesbians and hot gays. Come on your own, come with the lads. Or come with your elderly dad. There is no ‘typical’ and no one can be too weird.
Katie’s favourite is when you bring your husband and he ends up a bigger supporter than you!
Regardless, its a special night and we’d love everyone to get the chance to join us at a show. If your local theatre is not on the list it is because they refused to take our show. As you will understand, we have to ask you, politely, to come to us:
And thats all our news for now!
Well done for making it halfway through January. Onwards we go.
Thank you for being our regulars. We couldn’t do this without you
Lovely Mark
